Welcome to Budzynski
Studios and to our 7000 square foot "State
of the Art" facility, designed by Marilyn Budzynski
in 2001. Budzynski Studios, through its excellent reputation
and outstanding accomplishments, now serves as one of
the major performing arts centers in Pennsylvania and
Bucks County.
The mission of
Budzynski Studios is to provide the highest caliber of
training possible, to all students, ages 3 and up, at
all levels, from the beginning student to the professional,
while developing confidence and self esteem in a caring,
supportive environment.
Marilyn Budzynski
began her studies with the Mobile Civic Ballet and was
later accepted on full scholarship to North Carolina School
of the Arts, where she studied for four years. After dancing
professionally with Pennsylvania Ballet and in NYC, and
touring throughout the U.S., in 1974 she founded Budzynski
Studios of Ballet and is also Artistic Director and founder
of Dance
Theatre of Pennsylvania, a non-profit ballet company
well known for its acclaimed productions such as The
Nutcracker.
In 2001, Marilyn Budzynski received the "Lifetime
Achievement Award" presented by the Central Bucks
Chamber of Commerce, on behalf of Dance
Theatre of Pennsylvania, for outstanding contributions
to the arts.
|
| Budzynski Studios of Ballet
is one of the most highly staffed schools on the East Coast.
In addition to training for pre-professional levels, we also
specialize in training children ages 4 and up. Children are
nurtured and encouraged from early beginnings through advanced
levels by professional and caring faculty.BSB alumni are former
or current professionals with such companies as Boston, Colorado,
Utah, Pacific Northwest, Nashville, Richmond, Milwaukee, and
Pennsylvania Ballet, many receiving training in such prestigious
schools at NCSA, SAB, Joffrey, Kirov, San Francisco, and Carlisle
programs. |
